Terms of ServicePrivacy Policy

Privacy Policy

Effective date: October 20, 2026

Songpire LLC (“we,” “us,” or “our”) operates PNGStage and is responsible for the personal information described in this Policy. This Policy covers our website, Discord bot, avatar tools, overlays, Stage View, and OBS Control Dock. Contact us at kilu8_illidan@hotmail.com. Our Terms of Service describe the rules for using PNGStage.

1. Information we collect

  • Discord account and server information. When you sign in, we receive your Discord user ID, username or display name, and profile avatar. Our sign-in requests the identify and guilds permissions to identify you and list servers you can configure. Authentication uses session cookies and a Discord access token. We store your account profile and the server and voice-channel IDs you configure.
  • Participants and speaking activity. The bot receives voice-channel membership, participant identifiers and display information, and speaking start/stop signals, including for participants who have not created a PNGStage account. We use these to show the appropriate avatars and speaking state. PNGStage does not record, store, or transcribe Discord voice audio or read message content as part of this functionality.
  • Uploads and settings. We process uploaded PNG images and .veado files, store the extracted avatar images, and save your avatar, display, layout, fixed-slot, featured-participant, preset, and sharing settings. These settings may include participant Discord IDs. Avatar image frames are sent to OpenAI’s moderation API for automated safety checks when image moderation is enabled.
  • Optional local mic bridge. If enabled, we store your OBS WebSocket address, password if supplied, input names, threshold, and release settings. Your browser source connects to OBS and evaluates its volume meters locally, then sends speaking start/stop signals and the target participant ID to PNGStage. The bridge does not send microphone recordings or raw volume-meter streams to our servers. Stored connection settings are delivered to the authorized overlay browser source; treat your overlay URL as a secret.
  • Billing. Stripe processes payments and may collect your billing contact details and payment information. We store customer and subscription identifiers, plan and subscription status, billing-period information, and payment-card brand and last four digits when available. We do not store full payment-card numbers or security codes.
  • Website, usage, and support information. We collect page paths and query strings, referrers, browser information, campaign tags, product actions, optional feedback, timestamps, and a persistent browser identifier. Signed-in activity can be linked to your internal account ID. Our analytics table may store a salted IP hash when configured, rather than a raw IP address. Hosting and infrastructure providers also process connection information such as IP addresses and request logs. We receive information you send us in support requests.

We separately measure when an authenticated overlay browser source is connected, using internal account and overlay IDs and connection timestamps. This measures loaded time, not whether a stream is live. These usage records exclude audio, participant identifiers, viewing tokens, and rehearsal periods.

2. How we use information

We use information to authenticate accounts, configure channels, render and synchronize avatars, provide sharing and control features, process subscriptions, respond to requests, detect abuse, check image safety, troubleshoot failures, understand feature use, and measure marketing results. We also use information as needed to comply with law and protect users and the Service.

Where applicable law requires a legal basis, we rely on performance of our contract for requested services; legitimate interests in security, support, and improving the Service where those interests are not overridden by your rights; legal obligations for required records; and consent where required, including for applicable optional tracking. Describing a use here does not replace consent where the law requires it.

3. What others can see

Avatars are hosted at publicly accessible image URLs. People with an overlay or Stage View link can see the participant information that view displays, including avatars, enabled display names, and speaking state. Streamers can broadcast or record that information to their audiences. Stage View is read-only, but possession of its link grants viewing access; it is not a private account login. A dock credential grants control access.

Streamers can revoke or replace sharing credentials. Public showcase display of your uploaded avatar uses a separate opt-in setting. Turning it off stops future showcase selection but cannot remove copies others already captured. Broadcast platforms and other people handle their copies under their own policies and responsibilities.

4. Service providers and other disclosures

We share information as needed with providers that run the Service, including Discord for sign-in and voice integration, Vercel for the web application, Cloudflare R2 for avatar storage and delivery, our database and bot-hosting providers, Stripe for billing, and OpenAI for image moderation and the advertising measurement described below. Providers receive the information needed for their functions and may process technical connection data when your browser contacts them.

We may disclose information when legally required, to address fraud or security threats, to protect rights or safety, or as part of a merger, acquisition, or transfer of the business, subject to applicable protections. Discord, Stripe, OpenAI, and other third-party services also publish their own privacy policies for their processing.

5. Cookies, browser storage, and advertising measurement

Essential cookies support authentication and security. First-party analytics uses a randomly generated identifier in localStorage that persists across visits until cleared. Campaign tags are retained in browser storage for up to 30 days. We may associate an anonymous browser’s activity with your account after sign-in to understand how people find and use PNGStage.

We use OpenAI’s advertising measurement pixel and server-side Conversions API to measure visits, successful sign-ins, first overlay creation, and paid upgrades. Measurement can include event IDs, timestamps, page URLs without query strings or fragments, ad click references, a hashed internal account ID, and purchase amount and currency. The browser pixel also connects directly to OpenAI, which receives connection information. Hashing an identifier does not make it anonymous. Our server payloads do not include raw Discord IDs, names, email addresses, or access tokens.

A signed attribution cookie, pngstage_ads_context, can preserve an ad click reference and measurement preference for up to 30 days. Checkout can carry that reference and preference to Stripe so payment confirmation can be measured. We send conversion events with future user-level personalization opted out. Advertising measurement excludes overlay, Stage View, dock, admin, and API pages.

Our website client analytics honors Do Not Track. Advertising measurement honors Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control. Overlay connection measurement is excluded when the connecting browser sends either preference header; OBS may not send these headers. These preferences do not disable authentication, billing records, security processing, or all server-side operational events. You can clear site cookies and localStorage in your browser, which may sign you out and reset preferences. Contact us to exercise any applicable opt-out rights.

6. Retention and deletion

Account profiles, avatar images, and saved configurations are generally retained while your account and those features remain in use. Analytics and overlay usage history do not currently have a fixed automatic expiry. Removing an overlay configuration does not by itself erase its historical usage records. Signing out or revoking Discord authorization does not delete your PNGStage account or stored uploads.

You can change settings and remove avatar entries through the dashboard. To request deletion of your account, hosted image files, or associated data, email kilu8_illidan@hotmail.com with your Discord user ID and the scope of your request. You can request deletion of participant data even if you have never signed in. We may need to verify your identity or authority before acting. Do not send passwords, access tokens, or payment-card details.

We assess requests under applicable law and delete or de-identify information that is no longer needed, subject to necessary legal, accounting, dispute, and security records. Copies in backups and caches may persist until overwritten or expired. We cannot erase copies independently saved or broadcast by other users. Tell us if you also need help canceling a paid subscription.

7. Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or receive a copy of your information; object to or restrict processing; withdraw consent without affecting prior lawful processing; and opt out of certain advertising-related processing or disclosures. Submit requests to the email above. You may also complain to your local data protection authority. We will not discriminate against you for exercising applicable privacy rights.

8. Security and international processing

We use access controls and other technical safeguards to protect information, but no system is completely secure. Keep sharing links and credentials private, and contact us if you suspect unauthorized access. We and our providers may process information in the United States and other countries whose privacy laws differ from yours. Where legally required, international transfers must use appropriate safeguards. Contact us for information about the safeguards applicable to your data.

9. Children

PNGStage is not intended for children under 13 or below Discord’s minimum age in their country. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children below those ages. Contact us if you believe a child has provided information so we can investigate and take appropriate action.

10. Updates and contact

We will post updates here and revise the effective date. For material changes, we will provide an appropriate notice through the Service or another suitable channel. Privacy questions and requests should be directed to Songpire LLC at kilu8_illidan@hotmail.com.
