Do guests need OBS?
No. Guests manage their avatars in PNGStage, while the streamer adds the browser source to OBS.
What permissions does the bot need in a private voice channel?
View Channel and Connect are sufficient. The bot joins self-muted and self-deafened, so it does not need Speak permission. Category-level denials still need to be checked.
What happens when somebody reconnects?
Automatic mode re-centers the live cast. In optional Fixed Slots mode, the person's seat stays empty while they are away and they return to that seat when they reconnect.
